WHAT'S INCLUDED?:
Accommodations listed in the itinerary, Support Crew & Vehicle, Jungle Guide, Camping Equipment, Hammocks, etc. All bottled water consumed and all meals taken, during the period with us in Belize.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED?:
Medical Insurance. Costs incurred getting to/from Belize, all fuel and other vehicle related expenses whilst in Belize. Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco. Any service not listed in the itinerary.
Fuel, In places, there will be distances between gasoline/diesel fuel supplies; the onus is on the participant to ensure that they obtain the fuel necessary to complete the expedition. Participants are advised to ensure that they carry enough fuel for at least 200 miles. Fuel cans, containers and unprotected fuel tanks may not be carried inside any passenger vehicle. Participants are advised to carry extra fuel in supplementary long range tanks or externally mounted jerricans.
Mechanically and medically trained personnel will follow the expedition. However, the assistance they can provide will be limited at best to simple roadside repairs and basic first aid. In the event of a serious medical incident, the emergency services of the region concerned will be contacted. The support crew and their vehicle cannot be relied upon to repair, tow or transport vehicles which breakdown; the onus is on the participants to extricate themselves or each other from difficulty. Participants are expected to help each other.
There must be fixed or mobile, CB Radio in every vehicle.
VEHICLE ACCIDENTS AND EXPORT :
Participants are wholly responsible for the repatriation of their vehicle, and of all the tools, spares etc. carried, and for any import duties, fines or other costs which may result in their failure to do this. Participants who are involved in a road accident traffic accident or other incident involving other parties whilst in the country, are responsible in law for dealing with the other parties concerned and, if applicable, for reporting the incident to the police, in accordance with the laws of Belize. ADVENTURETREX INTL Ltd. will provide help and support as quickly as possible, but will not normally be able to make representation on behalf of the participant(s) concerned or otherwise take any responsibility or liability for the incident.
Upon receipt of your deposit and preferences, we shall provide you with the detailed itinerary of ‘your’ expedition, along with recommendations prior to your arrival into Belize that will ensure you get the very best out of your adventure.
